這就是希伯萊文原名為Erev Shel Shoshanim的猶太民謠，是許多人記憶中熟悉的歌曲，因為詞曲優美，合音動人，曾被很多國家翻唱成當地的歌謠。

【夜玫瑰】不只是著名的猶太民謠，它隨著猶太人千年的遷徙，流傳世界各地，鄰近的阿拉伯國家，甚至以這首歌做為其女性舞者跳傳統肚皮舞（Belly Dance）的配樂。阿拉伯人給予這首歌一個美麗的稱呼“Yarus”，即阿拉伯語“夜玫瑰”之意，這首歌亦受到亞美利亞人的喜愛，而發展出同類型的歌曲，稱為「亞美利亞夜玫瑰」。原歌詞表達男女間含蓄的愛慕，深情款款。
