Anchang is only about 25km from downtown Shaoxing, making it an ideal destination for a weekend bicycle trip.

On 25th December, 2005, 8 members of our local bike club started off, riding toward this charming little town.

This time we chose a newly finished road. Because there were very few cars, the ride was very enjoyable.

anchang is famous for its "la chang"-literally means December sausage. in the second photo, people are drying the sausage in the sun to help preserve it.
